Today started a little earlier than usual. The first thing I saw after waking up was my Pappa’s good morning message, which instantly made my morning better. Since her mom wasn’t at home today, my Pappa was able to call me earlier than usual.
We started talking, and as always, our conversation was filled with random topics, fun talks, and laughs. The call was really good, but at the same time, I was missing her a lot this morning. I was eagerly waiting just to see my Pappa and spend whatever time we could together.
Starting My Day With Her
We continued talking until she reached her office. Once she reached, it was time for both of us to get back to our routines, so we said goodbye and ended the call.
I went back to my room and started preparing my breakfast. I got ready, finished my breakfast, and immediately went downstairs to start working.
Today, I had one clear target in my mind.
I wanted to finish the pending task that had created so much confusion for me yesterday. Yesterday, different approaches and discussions had made the task much more complicated than it needed to be, so I was determined to finally complete it today.
Finally, I Completed That Task!
I started working seriously on it, and within around two hours, I managed to complete the task.
That genuinely made me happy. After all the confusion I had faced yesterday, finally seeing the task completed gave me a huge sense of relief.
After that, my Pappa finished her lunch and called me. We spoke for some time about how our day was going and had our usual little conversations before it was time for both of us to return to work.
I continued working, and my goal was to complete everything before my Pappa left her office. Thankfully, I managed to finish the entire main task before she left.
It felt good because yesterday I was completely confused about the same work, but today I finally managed to bring everything together and finish it.
Pizza Time 🍕
In between all this, I suddenly felt like eating pizza.
So I ordered one, and when it arrived, I had it while continuing with my day. The pizza was superb, and I really enjoyed it.
After that, it was almost time for my Pappa to leave her office. Once she started travelling home, we got another chance to call each other.
We spoke throughout her journey and again had plenty of fun conversations. Compared to yesterday’s stressful work situation, today felt much lighter because I had finally completed the task that had been sitting in my head.
Waiting Until She Reached Home
Eventually, my Pappa reached near her home, and her brother came to pick her up.
That meant it was time for us to end the call. We said goodbye to each other, and she left with her brother.
I came back to my room and started working on a few smaller pending tasks. The major work was already completed, so these were just the remaining little things I needed to take care of.
Our Silent Zoom Call ❤️
Later, my Pappa and I connected again through Zoom.
This time, we didn’t really speak much. We were simply there on the video call, seeing each other while doing our own things.
And strangely, I really love moments like this.
We don’t necessarily need to keep talking every second. Sometimes, simply seeing her on my screen makes me feel like she is somewhere near me.
That feeling itself is enough.
Even though we are physically far away from each other, moments like these somehow reduce that distance for me. We stayed connected for some time before eventually ending the Zoom call.
Trying Camel Biryani 🐪🍛
For dinner tonight, I decided to try something different—camel biryani.
It was an interesting experience because the camel meat tasted somewhat similar to mutton to me. It was definitely something different from my usual dinners, and now I can at least say that I have tried camel biryani while staying here.
After dinner, I thought our calls for the day were pretty much over.
But my Pappa had another idea.
Ending the Night Together 🎶❤️
After some time, my Pappa asked me,
“Shall we listen to songs and sleep?”
Of course, I said okay.
So right now, while I’m finishing this blog, both of us are listening to songs together. There’s something really peaceful about ending the day this way.
Today wasn’t an extraordinary day filled with huge events. But I completed the task that had troubled me yesterday, enjoyed a pizza, tried camel biryani for dinner, had several good conversations with my Pappa, and even spent some quiet time simply looking at her through Zoom.
Most importantly, the day started with her good morning message and is now ending with both of us listening to songs together.
For me, that’s already a good day.
I’m feeling sleepy now, so I’ll probably fall asleep within the next few minutes while listening to these songs with my Pappa.
Good night, guys. Bye-bye. ❤️
