A Peaceful Sunday: Swimming, Movies, Family Calls & Lots of Time With My Pappa

Today was a simple and relaxing day. There wasn’t much work pressure or anything serious happening, but I got to spend time with my family, swim, watch movies, eat some good food, and most importantly, speak with my Pappa whenever she was free.

Starting My Morning With Pappa ❤️

Today morning, I woke up early again. As soon as I woke up, the first thing I did was say good morning to my Pappa. After that, I freshened up and went downstairs because I wanted to start working on the new domain I recently bought.

My plan was to spend some time working on the website and developing it further. But as usual, plans don’t always happen exactly the way we expect.

Calls From Home 📞

Before I could properly start working, my grandma called me. We started talking, and the conversation continued for some time.

After that, my Chithi called me as well. I ended up speaking with her for quite a long time because she was mentioning a few things that needed to be bought. So, instead of starting my website work immediately, a good part of my morning went into speaking with my family.

Swimming Again 🏊‍♂️

After finishing the calls, I went back to my room and decided to go swimming.

Since I recently started getting more comfortable swimming alone, I’m actually enjoying it much more now. I went for my swimming session, spent some time there, and then returned to my room.

Once I came back, I had some bread. I was still hungry, though, so I ordered biryani for myself.

Chandramukhi + Biryani 🍛🎬

While waiting for the biryani to arrive, I started watching Chandramukhi.

After some time, my biryani arrived, so I continued watching the movie while eating. It was basically a proper lazy Sunday combination—movie and biryani.

Meanwhile, my Pappa called me whenever she got an opportunity today. Even if it was only for a little while, we spoke whenever possible.

Waking Up to My Pappa’s Call ❤️

After finishing the movie, I started feeling sleepy and decided to take a small nap.

Interestingly, when I woke up, my Pappa called me almost at the same time. She told me that she and her brother were planning to go somewhere outside.

After telling me about their plan, she went to take a bath and get ready. I also went outside, bought myself a coffee, and returned to my room.

Vallavan, Yesterday’s Blog & Another Movie

Once I returned with my coffee, I started watching Vallavan.

At the same time, I remembered that I hadn’t published yesterday’s blog. So I finally started writing the blog that I had missed yesterday.

After spending some time on that, I switched movies again and started watching Love Today. Today was basically turning into a complete movie day for me.

Meanwhile, I also ordered bread for next week’s breakfast. Since bread has become part of my regular morning breakfast here, I thought it would be better to order it in advance.

The Best Call of the Day ❤️

After some time, my Pappa called me again.

This time, I went downstairs so that I could speak with her properly. Unlike some of the shorter calls we had during the day, this one continued for a long time.

We talked about so many random things, laughed a lot, and had plenty of fun. We even started playing some games together during the call, which made the conversation even more enjoyable.

There wasn’t anything serious to discuss. It was simply both of us spending time together, playing, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company.

And sometimes, those are the best calls.

Pizza for Dinner 🍕

While I was still talking with my Pappa, I ordered pizza for dinner.

After spending a long time together on the call, we finally decided to end it. I said goodbye to my Pappa and returned to my room.

By then, my pizza was ready, so I had my dinner and started writing today’s blog.

Ending a Simple but Happy Day

And that’s pretty much how today went.

I originally woke up planning to work on my new website, but the day ended up becoming something completely different. I spoke with my grandma and Chithi, went swimming, ate biryani, watched Chandramukhi, Vallavan, and Love Today, had coffee, ordered my breakfast supplies for next week, and finished the blog I forgot to publish yesterday.

Most importantly, my Pappa called me whenever she could throughout the day. We ended up having a long call filled with conversations, games, and lots of fun.

Now I’ve had my pizza, I’m finishing this blog, and once I publish it, I’m going straight to sleep.

Nothing extraordinary today. Just a peaceful Sunday filled with family calls, swimming, movies, food, and my Pappa. ❤️

That’s it for today, guys. Good night. Bye-bye! ❤️
